The only time we cancel class due to weather is if its tornado watch, or thunder and lightening expected between 6:30 & 8!

Agility starts this week!

While scheduling conflicts caused a push out to next week for the start of Monday and Wednesday Basic Obedience Courses ...

YES!!!
Agility course are still starting this week! The agility training area has lots of nice cooling shade from about 6:20 on! Plus, there wont be alot of hard physical stuff for humans or dogs. Just focusing on learning a few of the obstacles and commands to set a foundation and focus on control.. once control and partnership is there, its easy to build on the speed and accuracy!

Course will.be held at the Training Directors home . Pm for the address

Due to unforseen schedule conflicts the start dates for Basic Obedience Course as changed!!
They will now start the week of the 20th!

Monday 20th 7pm and Weds 22nd at 7 pm

Basic Agility will start as scheduled

Obedience classes are held in Eaton Rapids at the big "Playground of dream" park at Pavillion #2 which is by the baseball diamonds.

Agility classes are held at the trainers home. let us know if you need that info.

Basic Obedience 6:30
Tuesday
Beginner Agility 7 pm
Wednesday
Basic Obedience 6:30 pm
Saturday
Beginner Agility 11:30 am

Obedience - includes manners, learning self control and thinking/problem solving, sit, down, come...close and far away, stand (for grooming and exam) walk on casual but loose leash of varying length, formal Heel. Limited use of treats.

Agility- focus on the partnership and listening, and control. Commands learned - sit, come, down, stay, stop. Obstacles include tèeter, Aframe, dogwalk, table, weaves, tire, bar jumps, solid jumps, and long jump. Great class to build your bond with your dog. Especially great for timid, unsure dogs! Lots of fun for all!!

Both classes utilize a basic buckle(snap) collar, and 6 ft leash.

Trainer has over 50 years experience training/showing all sorts of dogs in many venues! Also has advanced degrees and published research in Animal Behavior, Genetics and Nutrition.
