Our Mission: Through operating an animal shelter, we advocate for the welfare of animals in need by providing community support and compassionate care. The people and pets in our community are deeply important to us because they are the heart of what makes this a place we are proud to call home. We believe that the well-being of animals and the well-being of people are closely connected—when pets are healthy, loved, and well cared for, our whole community thrives. Our goal is to ensure that every pet has a safe and loving home, and that every guardian has access to the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to provide the best possible care. By supporting both animals and the people who love them, we create the kind of compassionate, supportive environment where everyone—two-legged and four-legged alike—can flourish. Services Provided
* Accepting stray animals or those relinquished by an owner;
* Offering cats and dogs for adoption;
* Training volunteers for animal care tasks;
* Scanning of found animals for microchip identification;
* Feral cat testing for FIV and Feline Leukemia, as well as spaying or neutering before returning to their home territory;
* Offering lower cost spays and neuters. Services Not Provided
* Accepting any wild animals;
* Accepting gravely injured or obviously sick stray animals;
* Euthanizing animals, except if in the best interest of the animal.
