Hi everyone! ❤️
I know it’s been a little quiet over here lately, and I wanted to take a moment to share why.
We experienced a truly devastating loss with Daisy’s last litter, and it was something our family took very hard. We love every single puppy that we bring into this world, and while losing one puppy at birth is incredibly difficult, losing an entire litter after they were born is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
Unfortunately, all of the puppies were born with a congenital defect. Despite multiple emergency veterinary visits, follow-up appointments, X-rays, and doing everything we possibly could to help them, the diagnosis remained the same: their condition was not compatible with life. We were told they were living far longer than anyone expected, and I fought incredibly hard for them every step of the way. ❤️
On top of that, we’ve been busy growing a human baby and completely renovating our home, so to say life has been hectic would be an understatement!
We are so excited to share that while we’re expecting our own little one in October, we’re also expecting new puppies in November/December! 🐾 We are anticipating black and chocolate puppies from Daisy and Frankie.
Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. It truly means more to us than you know. ❤️
If I haven’t gotten back to you or you’re still waiting for a response, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to reconnecting with everyone!
With love,
South Shore Labradors 🐾
