We are asking, as sincerely and desperately as we can, that the person or people who continue leaving animals at our gate Please Stop.

This is now the Fourth box that has been left outside our gate. Even more concerning, this is the Second time that the animal left inside the box has escaped before we even arrived at the shelter.

This is incredibly dangerous. We may not know an animal is there right away, and once they escape, we have no idea where they may go, what they may encounter, or whether we will be able to find them.

Our shelter is a safe, judgment-free place for surrenders. We are not here to shame you, yell at you, or judge you. We simply want to help the animal in front of us.

If you have an animal you can no longer care for, please bring them to our front doors during shelter hours and come inside. We will do everything we can to assist you and the animal.

We want to be able to help. We want to take in every animal we possibly can. But leaving an animal unattended in a box outside puts that animal at serious risk.

❤️ Please. We are begging you. Do not leave animals at our gate. Bring them to our front doors so we know they are there and can keep them safe.

You can come to us judgment-free.
You can ask for help.
You can tell us you need assistance.

Just please don’t leave an animal alone outside.
