Losing your dog or cat can be an extremely upsetting and stressful experience and Homeward Bound Lost Dog Search is here to help. We are an all volunteer team with over 14 years experience collectively in lost dog search and are MAR (Missing Animal Response) certified. Homeward bound Lost Dog Search helps to reunite lost dogs and cats with their Owner’s/Foster’s/Rescue’s. We also help to safely ca
pture stray/abandoned/dumped dogs so they can find their forever homes. Homeward Bound Lost Dog Search is headquartered in Easton, PA.
🦮 What are our service areas:
🐾 Northampton County, Parts of Lehigh County.
**Requests outside of our service area will be evaluated on a case by case basis and availability.
🦮 What type of assistance do we provide:
🐾 We create a personalized flyer, evaluate most appropriate places for poster placement.
🐾 We assist with appropriate social media sites to post on.
🐾 We evaluate your pups travel pattern based on sightings.
🐾 We set feeding stations, cameras and traps when appropriate.
🦮 What type of equipment do we have:
🐾 We have various sizes of humane box traps.
🐾 A 30 ft enclosure trap with an automatic laser sensor door close system.
🐾 Live action video cameras to monitor feeding stations and traps.
🦮 Do you also help search for cats:
🐾 While we are primarily a lost dog search group, we will assist Owner’s with their lost cats as availability permits.
**We do not offer feral cat services.
🦮 Do we charge for our services:
🐾 NO, we do not charge for our services. We are a recognized non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and solely donation based. However, we do ask that Owner’s cover cost of flyers, poster board, food for feeding stations, etc.
**Donations are always gratefully accepted and appreciated and are also tax deductible. Donations to Homeward Bound Lost Dog Search allow us to pay it forward to help those pups without Owner’s get to safety and find their forever home and to help cover the hidden costs that are not passed on to Owner’s (trap maintenance, data plans for cameras, etc.)
