❤️❤️ ODIE UPDATE ❤️❤️

Last week, we shared Odie’s heartbreaking story.

At only 2 years old, this sweet Great Pyrenees mix arrived after suffering severe neglect and trauma. The entire area around his neck had been stripped down to raw, bleeding flesh, leaving him in unimaginable pain and too weak to even walk on his own.

He spent weeks hospitalized receiving intensive wound care, medications, pain management, and around-the-clock medical support just to survive. 🏥

There were moments when he had to be carried into the veterinary office in his dog bed because his body simply could not support him anymore.

But despite everything he endured… Odie never stopped loving people. 🤍

Today, we are so incredibly happy to share that Odie — now renamed Cyrus — is finally HOME. 🐾❤️

He is settling beautifully into his new life, giving hugs and kisses to everyone he meets and slowly bonding with his new fur siblings. Recently, he even stepped into his Great Pyrenees guardian role for the very first time, barking at a fox across the street while leaning safely against his new mom’s hip. 🥹

After everything he endured, seeing him finally feel safe enough to simply be a dog again means more than words can describe.

This is what rescue is all about.
