🐾 Client Spotlight: Meet Panda! 🐾

This sweet boy is one of our Happy Feet regulars! 🐶🖤🤍

We take Panda out for walks where he gets plenty of fresh air, exercise, and time to stop and sniff along the way. On those extra-hot Sacramento days when it’s just too warm for a safe walk, we switch things up and stop by for a check-in instead—giving Panda a potty break, some attention, and quality time without the heat. ☀️🐾

We love being able to adjust our visits based on what’s best for each pet while still making sure they get the care and companionship they need. ❤️

We always look forward to seeing this handsome guy!

✨ NEW CLIENT SPOTLIGHT ✨

Meet Leo, one of our newest Happy Feet friends! 🐾🧡

We’re visiting this sweet boy every day for a 30-minute check-in that includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and—of course—plenty of love and attention!

Leo is a very social and friendly cat who loves being brushed, soaking up lots of pets, and getting in some playtime. He’s such a joy to care for, and we’re so happy to welcome him to the Happy Feet family!

🐾 What happens during a Happy Feet check-in?

Meet Carrots & Patches! 🐱🐱 While their family was away, our Happy Feet team stopped by once a day for 19 days to make sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for in their own home.

Our check-ins are tailored to each pet’s routine and can include fresh food and water, litter box care, playtime, cuddles and companionship, medications when needed, and of course, plenty of photos and updates so you know how your pets are doing while you’re away. ❤️

For Carrots & Patches, 19 days meant 19 days of familiar surroundings, consistent care, and a friendly face stopping by each day.

One happy pup! 🐾

Charlie spent the week enjoying overnight care and plenty of extra walks while her family was away. From playtime with her favorite tennis ball 🎾 to cozy snuggles at home, she made the most of every day!

A big shoutout to our amazing team member, Jessalyn, for taking such wonderful care of Charlie and capturing these beautiful moments. We love giving our clients peace of mind by keeping their pets happy, active, and comfortable in their own homes.

🐾 Double the fun with Willie & Lucca! 🐾

Willie and Lucca had a blast during their pet sitting visits! We stopped by for their morning and evening check-ins, served breakfast and dinner, refreshed their water, and spent plenty of time playing and burning off some energy. Seeing these two having so much fun together always makes our day! 💚🐶

How adorable is this face?! 🥹💛

We’ve had the pleasure of caring for Mooshie during overnight stays, daily walks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. She has the sweetest personality and always knows how to brighten our day with those big puppy-dog eyes and that adorable head tilt. 🐾

Whether we’re staying overnight to keep pets comfortable in their own home or stopping by for walks and play sessions, our goal is always the same: to make every pet feel safe, loved, and happy while their family is away.

🐾 Recent Overnight Stay with Leo & Charlotte 🐾

Mareena recently spent several nights caring for Leo and Charlotte, making sure they stayed comfortable and kept to their normal routines while their family was away. From daily walks and plenty of affection to all the little details of in-home care, they were in great hands.

During the stay, Charlotte wasn’t acting like herself. We noticed the change right away, contacted her owner, and offered to take her to the veterinarian. A family member was able to take her in, where she was diagnosed with a UTI and started on treatment.

We believe great pet sitting is about more than feeding and walks—it’s about paying attention, recognizing when something isn’t right, and communicating with pet parents so their pets receive the care they need.

If you’re planning a trip, we’d love to give you the peace of mind that your pets are being cared for like family.

☀️ Summer Heat & Your Dog’s Paws ☀️

As temperatures rise, sidewalks and asphalt can become dangerously hot for our furry friends.

🐾 Did you know?
• 77°F air temperature = pavement can reach 125°F
• 87°F air temperature = pavement can reach 143°F
• 95°F air temperature = pavement can reach 155°F

A good rule of thumb: If it’s too hot for the back of your hand for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.

At Happy Feet Pet Sitting, your pet’s safety is our top priority. During periods of extreme heat, we’re happy to adjust walking schedules to earlier mornings or later evenings whenever possible to help keep your dogs comfortable and safe.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and give those paws a break from the hot pavement! ❤️🐶

✨ Weekend Recap! ✨

Just a few of the adorable faces we had the pleasure of spending time with this weekend! From overnight stays and neighborhood walks to drop-in visits and plenty of playtime, it was another busy weekend caring for some of our favorite furry friends! ❤️

We spent time with playful pups, cuddly kitties, energetic walkers, and plenty of pets who just needed some extra love while their families were away.
