Hott Donna is the dog that started it all. We adopted her in May of 2020, the height of the shut down. Donna is what inspired me to start The Persnickety Pup.

After being abandoned on the side of the road in Texas as a stray, transported to PA, and staying several weeks in a shelter she is the type of dog we could never board at a kennel; it would be too traumatizing for her. It made me feel so blessed to have people in our lives to help us, and I felt how stressful it would be if we didn't.

That's how our mission was born- to give people a place to know their babies are safe, and to be a force of good in our community!
