Veterinary Tech Week Spotlight: Taylor Scarborough ₊˚⊹ 𐂯

For the past 6 years, Taylor has been a part of our CHVH family, dedicating her time and heart to caring for your furry family members. You'll primarily find her behind the scenes as one of our surgery and dental nurses, making sure every patient recieves the love, care, comfort, and attention they deserve. She plays an important role in keeping those tails wagging and smiles healthy!

At home, she shares her life with her fiance, Austin, and their four-legged crew: Baxter, Eevie, Zelda, and Nova. They enjoy hiking, spending time outdoors, and finding their next adventure!

We are so lucky to have her as part of our team. Please join us in celebrating Taylor and her 6 years of dedication to your pets!

Veterinary Tech Week Spotlight: Groomer Edition ≽^• ˕ • ྀི≼

Today we're shining the spotlight on one of the helping hands that keeps our furry friends looking and feeling their best!

When it comes to grooming, she has a heart full of patience and compassion. She takes her time with every pet that jumps onto her grooming table, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved throughout their spa day!

Not only does she work her magic in the grooming salon, she's always willing to lend a helping hand wherever she's needed. Whether it's helping with kennels, caring for boarding patients, or jumping in to help soothe a scared patient, she's always ready to get the job done!

Outside of CHVH, she enjoys spending time with her wife, Darla, playing video games, and horseback riding! Her love for animals does not stop when she clocks out, either. At home, she has two dogs, Bayou and Magnolia, several cats (including some lucky strays she's taken under her wing), and a lizard named Orion!

We are so lucky to have someone with such a gentle heart and caring hands on our team. Let's show her some love and appreciation for all the hard work she puts into keeping our four-legged friends clean, comfortable, and looking fabulous!

Veterinary Tech Week Spotlight: Jackie Wells ᓚ₍⑅^..^₎♡

Today we're showing some love to Jackie, an assistant that has been with us for 5 years! She's known around the clinic for her hilarious personality and her love for "frying the noot" of our patients! If there's a snoot nearby, you better believe she's going to boop it!

If you've brought your fur baby in for an appointment, chances are you've seen Jackie's smiling face! She spends most of her days helping our doctors in exam room, assisting with appointments, and making sure our patients are well cared for during their visits.

Outside of work, you'll probably find her jamming out to music, playing Fortnite, or soaking up every moment of being a boy mom! She spends her life with her husband, Raven, and their furry crew, Blue, Luna, and Goose.

We are so grateful Jackie has been such an uplifting part of our team for 5 years. Please join us in sending love and appreciate to her for all she does for our clinic!

Veterinary Tech Week Spotlight: Harlee Pennington ₍^. .^₎Ⳋ

If you've ever walked through the doors of CHVH, chances are you've been greeted by her warm smile and friendly Personality! Harlee has been part of our family for almost 2 years, and in that time, she has become such an essential part of our team!

She has a heart for animals all shapes and sizes, and there's never a task too big or too small for her to jump in and lend a helping hand! Whether she's greeting clients, comforting patients, or helping her team, she's always ready to step up wherever she's needed.

When she's not busy answering your phone call or loving on your furry friends, she's spending time with her own beloved pet, Fletcher (our honorary receptionist). If you know Harlee, you know Fletcher. We love him just as much as we love her! They enjoy curling up with a good book or listening to true crime podcasts.

We are so thankful for the kindness, compassion and positivty she brings to Country Hills every single day. Help us show some love to our friendly face who makes CHVH feel like family!

Veterinary Technician Week Spotlight: Abbi Lafferty ૮₍ 𝁽ܫ𝁽 ₎ა

For the last 4 years, Abbi has been a part of our CHVH family bringing compassion, dedication, and a whole lot of love to every animal that walks through our doors! Whether she's assisting with surgeries or helping care for patients during their appointments, Abbi plays an important role in our clinic.

When she's not busy caring for your furry family members, you can find her spending time with her husband, Hunter, and their three beloved dogs, Zeva, Maggie, and Winston. She's an outdoors-loving girl and spends most of her weekends hunting, fishing, or being on the water! With her love for all things turquoise and western, she's got a little cowgirl spirit and big heart to match!

Veterinary Tech Week Spotlight: Alexis Houston

Alexis has been part of the CHVH family for 6 years, and we couldn't imagine our team without her! With her friendly personality and ability to make friends with just about anyone, Alexis brings plenty of laughter, positivity, and good energy to our clinic. Whether she's caring for patients, lending a helping hand, or making someone's day a little brighter, she's always a familiar face around Country Hills!

When she's not busy at the clinic, Alexis loves spending time with her family. Her son, Waylon, keeps her on her toes (especially with their guinea pig!) She's an outdoorsy girl who enjoys hunting, but she knows how to balance that with a little pampering! From getting her nails done, keeping her hair looking good, or making sure her lashes are on point, Alexis love's a good self-care day!

Alexis has a way of making sure everyone feels welcome. Help us show her some love for 6 wonderful years of hardwork, friendship, and dedication to our patients. We're so thankful she's part of the Country Hills family!

Veterinary Tech Week Spotlight: Raven Wells ฅ՞•ﻌ•՞ฅ

Being the only man in the building isn't always easy, but he's been holding his own at Country Hills for 5 years! Not only does he help carry the literal heavy loads around the clinic, but he also keeps us laughing with his jokes and sense of humor!

But when things get serious, so does Raven. When an emergency comes through our doors, he's one of the first to jump into action. Whether it's performing CPR, administering oxygen, or performing lifesaving measures, Raven is always ready to step up when our patients need him most.

Outside of the clinic, he's a family man! He shares his life with his wife, Jackie, and their son, Grayson. Their furry family includes their dog, Goose, and two cats, Blue and Luna. You can usually find him outdoors, hunting, or getting competitive over a good game of cards.

We appreciate everything he does for our team, even if he is outnumbered every single day. Please join us in showing love and appreciation to a special member of our team!

Veterinary Assistant Spotlight: Mandie Johnson ૮(•͈⌔•͈)ა

Today we're celebrating a very special part of our CHVH family! With an incredible 26 years at Country Hills, Mandie has dedicated so much of her life to caring for animals and making a difference, one paw at a time. Known for her outgoing personality, amazing work ethic, and willingness to roll up her sleeves and get her hands dirty, she's never afraid to jump in and get the job done. Her dedication, experience, and hardworking spirit make her such a valuable part of our staff.

After 26 years with our clinic, she's still striving to learn and grow and we are so proud of and inspired by her!

When she's not busy caring for our patients, she enjoys life with her partner Chris, her son, Carter, and her very own pack of pups!

We're so thankful for the countless years of love, hard work, and compassion she's poured into our clinic and patients! Help us show her some love for 26 incredible years!
