Spree is doing good but with her age she is a lot slower getting weight back on. She is still on stall rest right now due to an abscess that has moved up and caused an infection towards her coffin bone. We have the vet coming out again this week to see what more we can do for her to get her back to good health. She is a true champ and the sweetest of souls.

Bit bit doesn’t even look like the same horse. She is loving her new pasture getting healthy so she can be adopted. Don’t mind the dirt she rolls in every mud puddle available.

Someone or group of people keep reporting our page claiming we are posting false information and we are not a legitimate organization. This is very time consuming to try and fix every time it happens. All we are asking if you have an issue with our post or question our legitimacy please take the time to reach out to us or pull our paperwork on Florida’s sunbiz.org site to show we are a true 501C3 organization. My wife and I work in the medical field so our schedules are a little hectic, but we try our best to schedule site visits for anyone that wants to come out the best we can. We would like to thank all of you for supporting us

I know we have had several people reach out wanting to volunteer. We have not usually had a lot of volunteer so we are working on a few things to make sure those who do have a great time working with the horses in the best and safest possible way. We will be putting together volunteer days to have people come out and help us out. Those dates will be listed soon so everyone will have a chance to sign up in the next week. We are extremely grateful for all of you through your sharing of our posts, donations and time. We look forward to meeting you all and getting everyone’s help to save and rehabilitate the amazing horses.

We want to thank Shelton Veterinary Clinic of Bunnell’s Dr. Stephanie and Grayson for working out it in the rain to take care of these sweet girls. Bit bit is suffering from some things from her malnutrition and has some bacterial infections on her legs and down her sides and back but is in super good spirits and other wise in the right direction for recovery. Spree has the same issues however is suffering from a bad case of gastric ulcers.
These girls have a long road to recovery but are loving their attention they are getting, and getting fed 4 times a day (very small portions to make sure we don’t shock their body and cause foundering an other issues). Now over the next week they have the dentist and farrier scheduled. Thank you everyone for your support and donations. Please consider donating if you can any amount helps.
