Our first year at the Hershey Grooming Expo was absolutely amazing!

We observed, learned, shopped… okay, we shopped A LOT …and of course, managed to sneak in a little fun along the way!

One of the coolest parts of the experience was getting to connect with groomers I’ve followed on social media for years. Groomers who, without even knowing it, have taught me something almost every day through their work, tips, and techniques. Getting to meet them in person, watch master groomers work, see competitions, and learn new techniques firsthand was truly an incredible experience.

And we even got to see our gal Laura from Pretty Paws! It’s always extra special getting to see familiar faces in the grooming world and catch up in person!

We also arrived a day early so we could explore Hershey, enjoy some time together, and make a little adventure out of the trip.

Overall, it was an incredible experience filled with education, inspiration, new friendships, familiar faces, WAY too much shopping, and a whole lot of excitement for what’s ahead!

We can’t wait to bring everything we learned (and everything we bought) back to Burke’s Barkers and put it to work! We’re excited to continue improving our techniques, expanding our knowledge, and providing even better grooming and boarding services for you and your fur babies.

First Hershey Expo: officially in the books.
Knowledge gained: A LOT.
Shopping restraint: Absolutely none.
Motivation for the future: OFF THE CHARTS!

We had such an incredible time, and we wanted to share a few pictures from our Hershey adventure. From exploring the area to learning, connecting, competing, and, of course, shopping, these are just a few moments we’ll be taking home with us.

🍂🎃 FALL FUR BABIES ARE HERE! 🎃🍂

Freshly groomed, fluffy, fabulous, and fully prepared for pumpkin spice, pumpkin patches, falling leaves, and absolutely NO thoughts about staying clean. 😂🐾

They understood the assignment: look cute, smell amazing, and immediately roll in something questionable. 🍁🐶

Life has been LIFE-ING around Burke’s Barkers lately, and apparently our camera roll has decided to become a full-time storage facility. 📸🐶😂
