This week we are celebrating staff appreciation week! Every day we are trying to give our wonderful team members little snacks, gifts, and just tokens of appreciation. It pales in comparison to how important they really are, but at least we try 🥹❤️ Thank you to Merck for providing fun coffee and energy drinks!

There’s something both beautiful and heartbreaking about loving an animal.

We know from the beginning that one day we’ll have to say goodbye. That these little lives we welcome into ours will almost certainly break our hearts.

But we love them anyway.

And perhaps the kindest part is that they don’t know any of that.

They don’t spend their lives worrying about how much time they have left.

They don’t know that one day we’ll have to learn to live without them.

They just live, and love, and trust that we’ll always be there 💙
