We have had 6 Frenchie’s this week ranging in age from 3 months to five years old. One of them is blind, one has only 3 legs, but each of them is very special!

We also had four cats, all with different personalities! One in particular had a little extra “catitude,” as Tia can attest to, with the four puncture holes from cat teeth in her inner forearm! 😳😩 We had one sweet kitten who thought his litter box was a free-for-all playground. We saved the last picture to show you one of his masterpieces!

In other news, Kelly and Tia went to the UMA Bangor campus on Friday to participate in the Vet Tech Program Job Fair. We had a slideshow running with over 250 pictures of YOUR pets! We are proud of our establishment and the students were very interested in an alternative job market where they could utilize their veterinary
training!

As a final note, we will be having another Halloween costume contest for pets this month! The rules and prizes will be announced in a separate post later this week! 🐶🐱

UPDATE: Adoption for Sloopy is pending!! 🙌🏻💗

This is Sloopy and she is still available for adoption! She is a 2 year old Husky, has been spayed and is up to date on shots. She needs to go to an individual or family who is familiar with this breed and able to give her the exercise she needs!

Sloopy is a very friendly girl! She loves people, other dogs, cats, and kids! Her Dad loves her very much but cannot keep up with her now. A fenced in backyard would be ideal for her, and she would absolutely love another playmate!

Sloopy is currently located in Millinocket, Maine. If anyone has questions or is interested in adopting her, please send Katahdin Kritters a private message!
