This National Veterinary Technician Week, we're celebrating the incredible Associates who make our hospitals thrive — like Karen, who began as a CSR and never stopped growing and like Joanne, who sought mentorship and support to obtain her VTNE.

At VCA, we're proud to champion our veterinary technicians every step of the way — offering mentorship, encouragement, and the resources to help you reach your full potential.

To every vet tech in our VCA family: thank you. What you do matters deeply — to our teams, to our patients, and to the pet owners who trust us with their most beloved companions.

Every surgery starts long before the first incision. It starts with a veterinary technician who has spent years mastering their skills, anticipating needs, monitoring vitals, and showing up fully prepared for every patient who comes through the door.

Vet techs are the heart of every OR team, and their skill and dedication make a difference every single day. At some VCA specialty hospitals, we take surgical collaboration even further. Some of our teams include Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) — professionals who earned specialized degrees specifically to support surgeons in the OR.

The result? Less time under anesthesia. Better outcomes. And a team that truly works as one. 💙

Because every patient is somebody's pet — and they deserve nothing less than the best.

Happy CSR appreciation week to these wonderful ladies, Richele and Ana!🎉👏🏻

CSR Lead Richele has been with VCA Foxon for 6 years. She’s the backbone of our hospital and is often the first voice you hear when you call or visit our clinic. Clients are often surprised when they walk in the door and she’s not there— don’t worry, she gets a day off! We’re so lucky to have her years of experience, which brings a level of compassion that cannot be matched to both our clients and her coworkers. Thanks for being the glue of the clinic, Richele! 💖

Ana may be a familiar face to our clients, as she began at VCA Foxon years ago as a veterinary technician. Since then, she has worked at our sister hospital VCA Baybrook, but recently re-joined the Foxon team as a client service representative. Her hands on clinical skills and knowledge help to complement her role as a CSR, and we’re so grateful she’s apart of our team. Thanks for the many hats you wear on a day-to-day basis, Ana!❤️

Please join us in celebrating the hard work these two put in to keep our team going at VCA Foxon!

Dr. Chadik’s cat Mommas is here to let our clients know that we have some major construction going on across the street from us! We can expect daily blasting which we do feel here in the clinic. This is expected to go on for the next 1-2 weeks. Like Mommas, it may cause you all to want to run and hide, but we can assure you all you and your babies are safe when here at VCA Foxon. Thank you for braving these loud noises with us!
