Today would have been Memphis’s 15th birthday.

Every year we had our little routine. We would do a nice walk or trail walk together. Enjoy a nice tasty treat to celebrate your birthday and finding a nice spot for our birthday picture.

It’s hard not being able to take a photo of you today to celebrate but looking back through all those memories today, from him as a puppy to our photo last year at 14, really hit me. I got to watch his whole journey through life, and he was there through so many chapters of mine.

This has been a really hard year without him. With everything going on in my life right now, I really wish I still had you here by my side.

Today we stopped at one of your favorite sun spots on the trail, sat there, enjoyed the sun, and just took in the moment. Just like you would have. I made sure
to spend some time in the garden today, just hanging out and thinking about you.

Even though you’re not here, it’s still your birthday. It’s still your day.

🎥 Enjoy a little slow mo of Memphis, enjoying one last bacon cheeseburger

Happy 15th birthday, Memphis. I miss you so much🐾❤️

Road to Recovery Day 19. Surgery day 🏥❤️‍🩹🩻

Serenity’s surgery went smoothly today. She’s home,
sleepy from the meds but stable. Tonight we’re focused on rest and chill vibes. Big step behind us, now healing begins. Thank you for all the love and support. We are going to take it one day at a time from here. ❤️🐾🥏

Serenity’s Road to Recovery Day 18 ❤️‍🩹

Tomorrow is the big day.

Serenity is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning, and today we’re getting everything ready for her recovery. Yoga mats for better grip, a leg sleeve to protect her stitches, and ice and heat packs.

I’m definitely nervous, but I’m feeling hopeful. We have a plan, and we’re ready to take this one day at a time.

Tomorrow starts the next big step in her road to recovery. ❤️‍🩹🐾🥏

A little update on Serenity ❤️

Unfortunately, Serenity got hurt today while playing frisbee this past weekend. We were filming our next round for the Freestyle Royale when she went up to jump for the disc and hurt her back right leg.

I took her to the vet right away, and we found out that she has a torn cruciate ligament and meniscus. The recovery is going to be a long one, and because of the injury, her 2026 season has officially come to an end.

This one is especially tough because we were really looking forward to everything we had lined up for the rest of the year. Between our upcoming shows and some of the big freestyle events we had been working toward, we had a lot to be excited about.

It’s definitely not how I imagined our season ending, especially after everything we’ve accomplished and all the fun we’ve had together this year. But right now, the only thing that matters is getting Serenity feeling good again and giving her the time she needs to recover.

Frisbee and the competition field will always be there. For now, it’s time for my girl to rest, heal, and get lots of love. ❤️🐾

Thank you to everyone who has cheered us on this season. We’ll keep everyone updated on her recovery.

And a big thank you to Merle dog photography for getting this great shot from what ended up being our last round of the year. 📸🥏
