🐾 Spay & Neuter: A Small Choice That Makes a BIG Difference!

Every year, millions of dogs and cats enter animal shelters, and pet overpopulation continues to be a major issue. One of the most effective ways we can help is through spaying and neutering. ❤️

🐶🐱 Did you know?
✨ A single unspayed female dog and her offspring can potentially produce tens of thousands of puppies over several years.

✨ A single unspayed female cat and her offspring can potentially produce hundreds of thousands of kittens over several years.

✨ Spaying female pets can help prevent serious reproductive health issues, including pyometra, a potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus.

✨ Neutering male pets eliminates the risk of testicular cancer and may help reduce behaviors such as roaming, marking, and fighting.

✨ Spaying and neutering can also help reduce the number of unwanted litters, which means fewer animals entering already overcrowded shelters and rescues.

One unplanned litter can create a chain reaction. Even if every puppy or kitten from that litter finds a home, those are homes that may have otherwise adopted an animal already waiting in a shelter.

At POA SPAY, we see firsthand how important prevention is. Every pet that is spayed or neutered is a step toward reducing pet overpopulation and giving more animals the chance to live healthy, happy lives. 💙

🐾 Spay. Neuter. Prevent Overpopulation. Save Lives.

Just want to say Happy vet receptionist week to my receptionist team! They go above and beyond every day to make sure the clinic is up and running smoothly everyday. They stay organized they prep ahead of time and just make the process much for easier for the techs in the back. They are rock stars!
They received a few goodies and were surprised lol but they clearly loved the lip products they got. Haha. We appreciate all you do for POA spay! Stay rocking!
