Karli sporting a silk scrunchie — she is rocking a Labradoodle ponytail! 💕 And for a few minutes, she’s also practicing good airflow to those ears.

One of the issues we see with poodles and doodles is that all the poofy hair around the face and ears can interfere with airflow and predispose them to ear infections. Trimming the facial hair in front of the ear canal can really help.

Sadly, ear ponytails aren’t a sustainable long-term solution for most dogs and, if done improperly, can actually hurt the ears. But they sure do optimize airflow to the ear canals!

For now, let’s just take a moment to admire Karli’s beauty as our model. 🐾💜
