🚨WARNING GRAPHIC PICS/CONTENT🚨

If it’s not one thing, it’s another. After finally making some progress getting back to work, yesterday I was building a shadow box for a mount and lost to a table saw.
Middle, index, and thumb were severed losing both knuckles in my index and thumb as well as the nerves in my thumb.
Surgery happened last night and the doctor was able to save my fingers with pins but there will be a long road to recovery as well as more surgeries possible in the future. My hand is wrapped in a cast currently with a more permanent cast being put on next week.
As of right now, doctor has ordered me to be off work for 6 weeks minimum followed by 3 months of physical therapy.
I’m not sure what the future holds for my career and hand mobility at this time but I am doing my best for all of you that have work on the books, Thank you all for being patient.

If you’ve been patiently waiting for your mount back, thank you and I am hoping to get them all done very soon!
There have been some rumors flying around saying that I’ve gotten out of taxidermy and I would just like to let everyone know that at this time I am not taking in new work so that I can take care of what I have on the books currently, but I will be opening up availability when I can! Still in the business, just very limited at the moment.

As some of you may know (and for those of you who don’t), we recently welcomed a new member into our family! Motherhood is nothing short of amazing and full of blessings.

In the meantime, I want to thank all of you for your continued patience and understanding while I slowly (but surely) make my way back to work. I am still working on answering messages and phone calls, so if I haven’t gotten back to you yet, I will be soon!

Thank you again to everyone who has reached out and to my loyal customers for sticking by while I navigate this new and very busy chapter in my life!
