From our hike on Mount Greylock yesterday where the skies opened up while we were well into the woods and we all got soaked. The only one truly disgusted with us was Elsa (blue merle). She kept giving me a look as if to say "See dad, this is why I usually wish to just stay home!!!" 🤣😂🤣😂 The rest of us were sad that we didn't finish our hike, but we laughed about it and still had a great time, and everyone is rain clean now too. 😊❤️

Little Aspen ( dark blue) went to my great nephew Levi. He needed a collie to live at his house with him for in between visits to our house, so we will see a lot of Aspen in our future adventures. We took him for his first real hike on Mount Greylock today with the pack. As you can see by the photos we got poured on once we were long into the trail. We took some refuge in one of the lean-to shelters until the worst of it passed us. Needless to say, we were all soaked anyway 🤣😂 but this is what great memories are made of. 😊❤️

Our first morning with no puppies. No howling good morning greeting as we come down the stairs, no puppy prison and all our furniture is back in place. Our tiny home feels bigger again, and yet a bit empty. Still filled with the ample love and blessing of Elsa, Toby, Theo and Grace. ❤️ Thinking of all the wonderful people we have recently added to the Beacon Hill family and all the wonderful people over the years we have met all because of our mutual love of these collies. Seeing some of our pups as seniors now is a reminder how fast time seems to go by. Some of our first pups are already at the rainbow bridge with Belle, Sonny and Lilah. 🙏 I feel a huge sense of gratitude to all of you, without all the amazing people looking for a collie to truly become part of your family, everything we do would be for naught. Even those of you that don't have a Beacon Hill Collie but follow along with us and share in our joy, we appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️❤️❤️

Last two babies go home tomorrow. The last ones are always the hardest on my heart. So thankful to have had a little extra time with these two. They both have kids of their very own in their new families. No doubt they will be happy as can be about that! ❤️❤️❤️
