🐾 Meet Dr. Trish Pugh – Our Chief of Staff Veterinarian! 🩺

“My favorite thing about working at Red Star Vet is our awesome team. Our team works daily to fulfill our mission of providing quality veterinary medicine to both large and small animals — with compassionate care and old-fashioned customer service. Every day brings something new and exciting, and you never know what kind of species might come through the door!”
Dr. Tricia especially loves working with all animals — her favorite? The zebra! While she hasn’t treated one yet at Red Star Vet, she once cared for a zonkey (a zebra-donkey cross). 🦓🐴 There’s a first time for everything in veterinary medicine!
At home, Dr. Trish enjoys life on the farm with her husband, toddler son, Great Pyrenees dogs, barn cats, ducks, horses, and cattle — keeping her busy both in and out of the clinic! ❤️
We’re so grateful for her leadership, compassion, and dedication to every animal who walks (or trots!) through our doors.

✨ Happy National Vet Tech Week! ✨
This week, we are celebrating the absolute backbone of our clinic—our incredible Veterinary Technicians! 🏥
🐾They are the nurses, x-ray techs, phlebotomists, dental hygienists, and comfort-givers of the animal world. From calming a nervous puppy to assisting in critical surgeries, our techs do it all with endless compassion and skill.
They work late, wear their hearts on their sleeves, and treat every patient like their very own. Our clinic simply couldn't run without them!❤️ Help us celebrate! Drop a comment below to thank our amazing tech team, or give a special shoutout to a tech who has cared for your pets! 👇
