UPDATE ON OUR LITTLE WARRIOR XENA!

Our beautiful little tuxedo girl is on her way to a full recovery! ❤️‍🩹 And if you know Xena, you know this little spitfire doesn’t let anyone—or anything—stop her!

She LOVES to play, tries her best to run everywhere, and apparently hasn’t learned the meaning of the word “slow down!” 😹 She is one determined little girl!

Xena will remain in foster for a while longer as she continues to heal and get stronger. We couldn’t be happier with her progress!

A HUGE thank-you to everyone who has supported Xena, cheered her on, and helped our little warrior along the way. Your love and support mean so much to us! 🐾❤️

Keep fighting, sweet Xena! You’ve got this! 💪🐱💕

UPDATE! We have been successful in trapping the cat who went missing from our rescue after 11 days after the woman let her out of the carrier in the parking lot. We have named her Milkshake and she is now in our care. Thank you to Michele Evaldi Horsch!

UPDATE: This cat is still in the area of Windsor Drive. It was caught on someone’s camera at 4 AM this morning. Please keep a lookout if you are in that area. Thank you!

Hi, this cat was being dropped off at New Beginnings animal rescue and the person who had her did not have the cat in a carrier and the cat escaped out of her arms. If you see this cat, please reach out to New beginnings animal rescue on route 18 and let us know. Cat was last seen heading toward Windsor Drive in East Brunswick. Thank you!

🐾 HELP US GIVE XENA AND OTHER CATS A SECOND CHANCE! ❤️

We are excited to launch our new Medical Fund Fundraiser to help replenish the funds needed to care for the cats and kittens of NBAR.

On September 3rd, a Good Samaritan witnessed something heartbreaking—a car stopped along the side of Route 18 and abandoned a tiny 4–6-week-old kitten. Thankfully, they didn't look away and reached out for help. We jumped into action and got her the medical care she needed.

Meet our tiny warrior, Xena. 💜🐈‍⬛

Xena was found to have a broken hind leg with multiple fractures. Because she is so young and still growing, she will need ongoing veterinary care as she heals and develops.

Despite her rough start, Xena is now safe, loved, and recovering in foster care. But Xena is just one of many cats and kittens who depend on us for medical care.

From emergency veterinary visits and medications to vaccinations, preventative care, and spay/neuter surgeries, our medical bills continue to grow.

✨ Your donation—no matter the amount—can make a difference.

Every dollar donated to our Medical Fund helps us continue providing the care our animals need and allows us to say YES when a cat like Xena needs help most.

If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this post. Sharing Xena's story could help us reach someone who can. ❤️

Together, we can give Xena—and so many other cats and kittens—a second chance and a brighter tomorrow.

Thank you for supporting New Beginnings Animal Rescue! 🐾💜

💔 Dumped like trash… but now she has a chance.

Yesterday, a Good Samaritan witnessed a car stop at the U-turn by Walmart on Route 18 and watched in disbelief as someone placed something in the grass and drove away.

To her horror, that “something” turned out to be a tiny 4–6 week old kitten. 😿

She immediately reached out to us, and of course, we took this little girl in. She is now safe and will be going into foster care while she receives the care and time she needs to heal and grow stronger.

We’d like you to meet Xena — Warrior Princess. 👑⚔️

Despite the terrible start she was given, this tiny warrior is now surrounded by people who will love her, care for her, and make sure she gets the happy ending she deserves.

Welcome to New Beginnings, sweet Xena. Your real adventure starts now. ❤️🐾
