We are committed to using positive reinforcement training to create a peaceful home environment between you and your dog. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed, a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), a certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and an Instructor for the DOG B.O.N.E.S. Michaela takes continuing education very seriously and has atte

nded seminars in the dog education field with Dr. Ian Dunbar, Dr. Nicholas Dodman, Emma Parsons, and Sue Steinberg. She also attended Karen Pryor’s Clicker Expo. Positive reinforcement training is the best way to create a peaceful home environment. In a force-free environment a reward based system is used to promote good behaviors. It is one of the most powerful tools to shape and change unwanted behavior. Group classes are designed to establish the foundation of basic manners and increase the level of difficulty to facilitate off leash obedience. Private training is tailored to address behavioral issues including separation anxiety, resource guarding, leash reactivity, bringing baby home, and facilitating positive relationships between children and dogs.

We sent the kids off to school today… and let’s be honest, it’s equally in force for the dogs! 🎒🐶 September is officially Bark to School, and our class calendar is packed with opportunities for learning, socialization, enrichment, and FUN.

🎓 NOW ENROLLING — ALL GROUP LEVELS!
And new this season: Integrated Obedience — because real-life skills are built with extra distractions! 🐕‍🦺

Pack walks designed for appropriate socialization, confidence-building, and spending time with your friends.

🐾🧘‍♀️ DOGA is coming to The OM Studio! 🧘‍♀️🐾

We are so excited to partner with the wonderful Susan Johnson of Wild Heart Yoga for a very special 4-week DOGA workshop — four evenings of yoga, connection, and time on the mat with our dogs. ❤️

Susan will guide us through a beautiful yoga sequence while incorporating our canine companions into the practice. And if I’m being perfectly honest, I don’t know what I would do without my yoga practice — or without my dog calmly joining me on the mat. 🐶🧘‍♀️

This is anything but dogs interrupting yoga! It’s about slowing down, connecting, breathing, moving, and sharing that peaceful space with our best friends. There’s something pretty magical about practicing alongside the dog who is always there for us.

I can’t even describe the energy that fills the studio when we have Puppy Yoga. We raised awareness and funds for Paws New England, socialized some puppies and enjoyed their antics —— puppy breath, snuggles, zoomies, they brought everything! 🙏🏻 Beyond thankful, appreciative, grateful for everyone who came together and made this beautiful celebration happen. 🙏🏻 Namaste 🥹 🐾
