A little behind-the-scenes note from Free Spirit Hounds for new potential clients 🖤🐾
We are a small, owner-operated business. We do not have reception staff, office staff, or employees dedicated to answering phones and emails throughout the day. During business hours, our focus is on the dogs in our care—supervising playgroups, conducting training sessions, providing enrichment, managing arrivals and departures, cleaning, feeding, and ensuring every dog is safe and cared for.
While we do our best to answer calls and messages as they come in, there are many times when we are actively working with dogs or handling situations that require our full attention. For that reason, many phone calls and message responses are returned in the evenings when we have an opportunity to sit down and give each inquiry the attention it deserves.
We kindly ask for patience and understanding if you do not receive an immediate response. We understand that everyone is eager to make arrangements for their dogs, but please remember that there is a person on the other end doing their very best to balance communication with the care of the dogs currently entrusted to us.
We also have an intake process and evaluation protocols that we follow for every new dog. These procedures are in place for a reason—to help us understand each dog's needs, personality, behavior, and management requirements so we can provide the safest and most successful experience possible for everyone in our pack. We do not rush this process, and we appreciate those who trust and respect the care that goes into it.
