Tried to trail ride at Mendon with friends on Saturday. The storm was moving faster than predicted....so did we. Got back on the trailer to wait it out. Gave up and drove home to ride our own wet trails.

A snippet of Abby and I this weekend - not getting qualifying scores, heck we even DQd for the first time ever...TWICE!

The issues were all mine; Abby was an angel as always. She'll teach me to be a better rider eventually.

The show was primarily a success (we're always learning something!) All the competitors were wonderful and the volunteers we had were the BEST! I think we had more volunteers than competitors, and they were always upbeat, helpful, and encouraging. Truly the best team ever. I can't thank them enough.

The relatively normal weather lately has been excellent for riding and training! Today was far less buggy and we had wonderful successes:

- London walked over the bridge for the first time and after all her initial skepticism, was as calm and relaxed as could be.
- London went for a walk in the fields and showed me her AMAZING piaffe! She can look quite large :)
- Abby had a MUCH improved bull line canter thanks to our lessons with Michelle Lackey!
- Pippin did the bull line at trot for the first time (a little drunkenly).
- Pippin had a lovely forward walk today.
- Pippin cantered today!

Please summer, give us more of this.
