It's important to remember that quality time for the littles is just being there.
Being support for their nervous system. Being a confident, stable source of comfort for them. That's how they learn confident independence and emotional stability.
Dude can get worried at times. But I've noticed every time I'm nearby, he comes right to me. Doesn't jump on me, but definitely thinks of me as his safe place. I like seeing that.
One day he's not gonna feel the need to hug up to me when he hears a funny noise or sees something he's not quite sure of. He's learning and growing, and quietly taking it all in while becoming a solid citizen that reflects the great horses he comes from.

2024 AQHA Brown Roan Filly

Diara was born and raised here. She's a sweet gentle girl. She is doing good with a saddle but has not been ridden yet.

She will:
*Basic lunge
*Roundpen
*Stand tied
*Stand for farrier
*Pony from other horses
*Trailers fine
*Goes over or through any obstacle you send her at
*Just had teeth done and wolfs removed
*Should mature to 14.3hh, currently 14hh
*Does great with clipping and bathing

⚜️6 panel clean through parents⚜️

I work to build a confident connection with all my babies so she has a very good relationship with people and took to saddling with no issues although I haven't introduced a back cinch yet.
She has no bite, kick, rear, strike, or buck.
Although she tends to be pretty laid back she is spunky and I can see her excelling in speed events or cow work.

Today's the day! We're on the road with Molly for the sale! At 2:30 there's a meet and greet for everyone in the arena, Friday she's competing in the trail challenge, and then ending it Saturday with the actual sale! Not sure I'm ready to say bye to this awesome mare🥹 she is such a fun ride and has been a joy to work with. But also can't wait to see where she goes from here. The potential with her is honestly endless.

Last weekend at the PA HORSE EXPO with was a blast!
We had some great sessions. Gracie, like always, gave some amazing lectures and this year she insisted that I help do some of the speaking🙈
So yes I put on a mic...but she still did most of the talking😆
I always enjoy just hanging out and chatting with people and meeting lots of new friends.
Let's just say I got very nervous right before the sessions...especially because we really didn't have a whole game plan when we went in😆
Poor Molly was always on edge when I hopped on...because of my nerves. But generally that's good because we love to talk on how the horse responds to the rider.
To this day, I have never heard a trainer or clinician go over it anywhere near like Gracie does in really showing how much of the horse's issues are actually just people issues. And how when you look at yourself and admit you are the one and start changing yourself, the horse issue all but goes away.
The more I do with Molly, the more I appreciate what a great horse she is. Im really gonna miss her! Counting down the days till the Great American Ranch and Trail Horse Sale where we're gonna say bye to our big sensitive mare!🥹

We had a great turnout at our clinic on Saturday at LS QUARTER HORSES! We had a beautiful day and a bunch of fun horses and people to hang out with!
That's clinic #2 in the books for and I doing together, and we're starting to find our groove. Our personal training styles really worked to balance and add to each other, so we had a great flow going! Everyone seemed really engaged, and we got to go over lots of different aspects as each horse and rider brought a different component to work through.
I already have ideas for another clinic in the works so we'll see if I push to make that happen!😆
But! We'll be at the PA HORSE EXPO this week with doing sessions in the roundpen, so if you're there, stop by and see us!
