The Veterinary Alternative Changing animals' lives for the better... Alternative therapies treat your pet as a "whole" and eval

"There is a place for Western medicine in the care of animals, particularly for emergency care and surgery. But, for both acute and chronic care, I find that acupuncture, homeopathy, herbal medicines, cold laser therapy, and spinal manipulation therapy respect and augment the healing abilities of the body and work to restore our animals’ health much more effectively. These modalities do more than just manage symptoms, and the animals show their acceptance of it by running up to our doors, instead of pulling away." "Alternative modalities improve the health and well-being of all of the animals we treat. The goal is to restore the animal to health, well-being and soundness so that they can maintain themselves on their own, without continued medication or herbs, whenever possible. I have found tremendous satisfaction treating my patients in this way and if you were to ask them, I think they would all agree." --Dr. Alisa Koenig
