Aurora Community Gardens

Aurora Community Gardens Aurora Community Gardens Inc. is a 4-acre plot in the town of Aurora NY supporting local Gardeners. Thanks for your support and helping us GROW!

The Aurora Community Gardens was established in 1974 and was bequeathed to the local gardeners by the late Marian Foss Bronson. The 4-acre site is located at 619 South Street, on the border of the East Aurora village in the Town of Aurora, NY. The land is adjacent to Major’s Park where local garden members grow their own fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Members are provided with a fenced area with

full sun, fertile soil, clean water and gardening tools. Plots are offered in 2 sizes (6’x6’ and 12’x6’) as a seasonal rental, most members do not have space in their yards and too much shade for a productive home garden. The property is maintained by members and volunteers throughout the growing season. All funds raised are invested in the maintenance and upgrades of the land each year. For more information on becoming a member, volunteering or donations please contact us.
