Two of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Jess and Kirsty, recently traded their scrubs for cowboy boots and headed to the Western Veterinary Conference in Nashville. 🤠🎸

Between a little honky-tonkin' and soaking in the music city energy, they were hard at work expanding their knowledge. Veterinary medicine is a career of constant growth--learning truly never stops. Jess and Kirsty dove into the latest advancements in clinical care, leveling up their skills in key areas like veterinary nutrition, leptospirosis prevention, toxin & poison management, and team leadership.

Dr. Eaves & Dr. Fernandez take pride in giving these opportunities to our team; being able to send them to top-tier national conferences so they can bring the very best, cutting-edge care back home to our patients! 🐾💉

Yeehaw Jess & Kirsty, we love your dedication to continuing education and excellence! 💚💙

First Time For Everything 🐾

Buck came into our clinic as a first time patient but not only that, he was the first patient to get his yearly check up in our new addition of the Southern Trail! Buck was all b***y wags in the new spacious exam rooms.

Huge thank you to his mom Sherry for trusting us with his care! 💚 See what she had to say...

"We had the best experience today. Buck has never been so relaxed at a vet's office before. He felt right at home as you can see from the tail wags and relaxing in the exam room. We are so happy we found an amazing team to care for our furbaby 🥰🐶."

We have a couple new faces here at STAC, so we thought we should introduce them! 👋🏼

Sage has moved onto our team effortlessly. She is a fresh new graduate from Tri-County's Veterinary Technology program! 🩺 This girl has a passion for veterinary medicine as she has started her journey of undergrad at Clemson University to become a Veterinarian! 🐅

If you haven't met her already here at the clinic, be sure to give her a big ol HELLO the next time you are in! 🐾

We're saying a huge "see you later" to our interns and shadows as they return to school to continue their vet med education. Thank you for all your help, questions, and extra belly rubs for our patients! 💚

Sommer starts her 4th year of undergrad at Clemson University, while Grant starts his 3rd year! 🐅 Amber is starting her first year at Auburn!

We are so happy to be a small part of your story! Now go rock these next two semesters! 💪🏼😸🐶

We are closed today in observance of Fourth of July! 🇺🇸
We are back in the clinic Monday the 6th at 8:00 am! 👍🏼

We hope everyone has a wonderful 4th weekend shared with, family, friends, and fur babies! 🐾✨

Couple things to remember:

🎆 Make sure you schedule your pet's anxiety medications correctly so it is effective during fireworks.

🎇 Make sure your pet's are secure! One firework boom could spook them enough to run off and flee. We don't want to see any missing fur babies!

🌭 Not all human food is good to feed to your furry friends. Some foods may be very fatty, easily causing diarrhea. 🍇Other foods are toxic and could lead to severe sickness.

🌡️It's going to be a hot one! Protect your pet from the heat if some plans are outdoors this weekend. Keep them hydrated and don't let them over exert themselves. The pavement will be HOT, protect their paws!

What a BEAUTIFUL country we live in! 💙❤️ Happy 4th of July everyone, be safe and enjoy the 250th! 🦅
