Today was a great reminder of how grateful I am for my clients.
Thank you for always being so patient and understanding when my schedule shifts unexpectedly. Working with animals means that no two days are ever the same. You canāt plan when a dog suddenly needs a bath, when thereās an accident that needs to be cleaned up, or when another animal has an urgent need that requires immediate attention. Those moments can occasionally make me late to my other responsibilities, but theyāre also part of providing the best care possible.
Today, I was asked to syringe feed three-week-old foster kittens that were medically unstable while my client was at work. Because of your flexibility, I didnāt have to rush through their care. I was able to make sure they were fed, comfortable, and settled before moving on to the rest of my day.
I especially appreciate clients who communicate their drop-off and pick-up times ahead of time and are flexible if those times need to shift a little. That flexibility allows me to give every animal the time and attention they deserve, whether theyāre staying with us or at your home.
