Today is World Su***de Prevention Day. At NOMV, our focus is helping veterinary professionals find the support and resources they need to survive and thrive in this profession.

If you're struggling, there are places to turn.

NOMV offers peer support, mental health resources, educational materials, and workplace resources for the veterinary community.

You don't have to wait until things get worse to look for support.

Not one more vet 💜

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

Prevention starts with connection. It starts with checking in and making space for honest conversations. We’re here to make sure veterinary professionals know they do not have to handle hard things alone.

Sometimes we get so used to being the person who takes care of everyone else that we forget we need care, too.

This month, NOMV is talking about su***de prevention, mental health, and what it looks like to support the people who care for animals every day.

As a new week approaches, we want to take a moment to recognize Daniel, our Texas Tech rotational student! 🐾💙

Although Daniel has already completed his rotation with us, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the time he spent at EVDH. During his rotation, he had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, expand his knowledge, and learn more about the day-to-day workings of veterinary medicine.

Thank you for spending part of your rotation with us, Daniel, and best of luck in all that’s ahead! 💙
