Bella slipped in the bathtub and fractured her pelvis right above her hip joint. Treatment options include..

1. Surgical repair with a specialist to place plates and pins

2. Femoral Head Osteotomy (FHO) surgery in clinic. This would involve removing the head of the femur to create a “false hip joint” and alleviate pain.

3. Conservative management consisting of strict cage rest for a minimum of 6 weeks with pain medications to allow the fracture to heal without surgery. This outcome may be less predictable than with surgery.

No matter which option we wish Bella a smooth recovery! ❤️‍🩹
