Ruff Country Dog Resort LLC Dog boarding provided by loving, experienced people in a safe environment. Our founder, John Williams, has over 20 years of experience caring for animals.

After successfully managing several pet boarding facilities in Memphis, John realized that most commercial boarding facilities truly do not have the pet’s best interests at heart. He desired to start an establishment based on the ideals that maintain that the dog’s happiness comes before all else. A native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, John received his Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Animal Science from Mississippi State University. He has been employed by numerous veterinarians over the years, caring for animals of all sizes. The Williams’ family has a passion for animal rescue, having both rescued and rehomed many dogs throughout the years.
