UPDATE: We’ve found him a home. If y’all spot it again, please let us know!

🐷 DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS PIG?

This little guy is currently running loose, and we’re trying to find out if he has an owner nearby. If you recognize him or know where he belongs, please send us a message!

If an owner cannot be located, we also need someone who would be willing and able to take him. We need to get him safely contained and off the road/out of the area, but we do not have appropriate housing at the shelter for a pig.

Please share so we can either get him back home or find him somewhere safe to go! 🐷❤️

🐾 IMPORTANT BARK IN THE PARK UPDATE! 🐾

Bark in the Park is STILL ON for October 17th from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM at Okeena Park! 💙 We’ll still have our 1-Mile Dog Walk, Puppy Yoga, Dog Costume & Trick Contests, vendors, adoptable dogs, food, activities and plenty more!

We have made one change to our plans: the Dr. Ralph Reynolds Memorial 5K will be moved to Saturday, November 21st. 🏃‍♀️🏃

There are several great community events happening in Downtown Dyersburg on October 17th, including the Autumn Festival, March for ALS, Car Show & Concert, along with their own 5K. Rather than competing with another local race or taking away from what they have planned, we felt moving ours to a different date was the best way to support our community and give both events the turnout they deserve. 💙

More information and registration details for the Dr. Ralph Reynolds Memorial 5K on November 21st will be coming soon!

For now, keep October 17th on your calendar because Bark in the Park is still going to be a BIG day! 🐶🐾

🐾 BARK IN THE PARK IS BACK! 🐾

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 17th from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM at Okeena Park! 💙

We are SO excited to bring Bark in the Park back to Dyersburg and Dyer County, and we’re working hard to make this a huge, fun-filled community event for dogs and the people who love them!

We already have so much in the works, including the Dr. Ralph Reynolds Memorial 5K, a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk where you can run or walk with your dog, Puppy Yoga 🧘‍♀️🐶, a Dog Costume Contest, Dog Trick Contest, adoptable dogs, local vendors, pet-related businesses and organizations, food, activities, prizes and so much more!

More details are coming! We’ll be creating an official Facebook event soon where we can share registration information, schedules, participating businesses, sponsors and all the fun things being added as plans are finalized.

📣 WE ALSO WANT YOU TO BE PART OF IT!

We are still looking for local businesses, organizations, vendors and community partners who would like to get involved. Set up a booth, sponsor an activity or contest, donate a prize, volunteer, or bring us your own fun idea! We want Bark in the Park to be something our whole community is a part of.

And most importantly.. SHARE, SHARE, SHARE! Help us spread the word and make the return of Bark in the Park one to remember. 🐾💙

Some answered immediately. Some struggled. And some of them probably need to be reminded that their houses are already full. 🤣
