Why Does Brae Need Ongoing Medication and Monitoring? πΎπ
Her monthly Zycortal injection replaces the hormone responsible for maintaining proper sodium and potassium levels, while her daily Prednisolone replaces the cortisol her body is unable to produce on its own. These medications help keep her healthy, active, and feeling her best.
Brae also needs bloodwork twice a year so her veterinarian can monitor her electrolytes and overall health, ensuring her medications are working properly and allowing adjustments if needed.

Brae Is Worth Every Pennyβ¦ and Then Some. πΎπ
While that may seem like a lot, what you get in return is priceless. Brae is a happy, loving girl who deserves the same chance at a forever home as any other dog. She didnβt choose to have Addisonβs disease, but she faces it every day with a wagging tail and a heart full of love.
Please donβt let her diagnosis be the reason she gets overlooked. Brae is not defined by her medical conditionβsheβs defined by her resilience, her sweet personality, and the unconditional love she has to give.
A little extra care is all she needs. A forever family is all she wants. ππΎ
She is STILL available at County Line Pet Hospital for adoption or rescue pull
