🐴We have finally settled on a name for our newest baby! Her name is Debbie. I originally didn't like this name, but after she pinned her ears and kicked at me for trying to move her over while she was eating Dove Performance Nutrition, she EARNED that name haha!

She is boss lady of this other mare that I moved over here with her to keep company since paint was lonely too. Nessy thought she was her own dummy she could push and chase around, so that was a no go.

Paints name is Maybelline. Isn't that cute!

We have had Debbie a couple of weeks, and she still loves Dove and we have always had zero issues transitioning from another feed to Dove.

She has never received a single extra supplement—not for her mane, coat or anything else. She simply gets Dove Performance Nutrition and quality forage.

Genetics certainly play a part, but balanced nutrition provides the protein, vitamins and minerals a horse needs to grow strong, healthy hair. I don’t have a horse with a naturally thin mane or tail in the bunch. Kelly may rub hers out or let somebody chew it off, but it always grows back. 😂

You don’t always need a bucket full of supplements. Start with a properly balanced feed and good-quality forage, then add only what your horse actually needs.

Good hay shouldn’t be a guessing game. 🌾🐴

At Dunlap Equine, my goal is to keep the best-quality orchard grass and alfalfa available year-round. I stay on top of inventory and do my best to restock before either one runs out, so you have a reliable place to get the hay your horses need.

Of course, availability can occasionally depend on suppliers and circumstances outside my control—but keeping quality hay on hand is always the plan!

Babies first Dove Performance Nutrition meal after bringing her home yesterday❤️

She loved it! I can't wait to see how she does on it. Any Dove formula is perfect for every meal- from their first to their last.

Thank you to Jayma Lynch Shomaker Farms and her team for raising, teaching, and caring so much about these babies! She sets them up for a bright future and I never take that for granted.

🌾 OUR BIGGEST LOAD YET IS HERE! 🌾

I brought back 12 bundles with my truck and trailer yesterday—8 bundles of Western alfalfa and 4 bundles of Western orchard! 🛻💨

The alfalfa is the same great quality we’ve had before, and the orchard is back to the quality I’ve been looking for. It’s so green and smells so good that you can hardly tell the orchard from the alfalfa in this load! 💚

We also have around 25 bales of the $16 orchard left!

🛻I'll be going to get more alfalfa and orchard tomorrow. BOTH will be top quality, western hay.

🤤Each bale of this good quality will be $21 (orchard and alfalfa). If you want a bundle (21 in each), they are $441 either picked up or dropped of (I only do deliveries if its close to my route). If you want 2 or more bundles, I will give a discount.

Let me know if y'all need anything! I'll be in Trenton until about 3PM today, and after that, I'll be in Dyer. It can be brought back to Dyer, you just gotta let me know!❤️
