I am thrilled to have had the pleasure to help Alfie get situated into his new home! The Guardian Angel Basset Rescue is an incredible organization to work with.

Alfie had been here once before but was relinquished back to GABR and stayed with me as he was put on an exercise program to lose weight (which was causing him to limp and having breathing issues) and he also went through the opportunity to get off of Fluoxetine that he prior adopters put him on to try to make him settle his natural energy.

Alfie successfully came off the drug, got back into fit physique, and became a star friend he always has been! An appropriate diet with less starch and less sugary treats helped his energy level balance, mood become regulated, and give him the physical ability to thrive in a new home!

Congrats to Jon and Alfie! So proud to have been able to provide care to get you to your forever home!

Progressing through his PupCamp training program, George was ready to go home for a training session this morning.
He showed us his new ability to settle in the house is retaining in memory. Yay, George!
Imagine a dog who won’t overreact at a given noise, will be peaceful with guests arriving, and have the confidence to visit and go for errands with you… we are almost there!

Long vacation? Don’t fret! Your pups will be treated like my own. Enjoy the excursions of the outdoor property, the off leash time in the indoor play zone, and ALL the cuddles!

Meet Gracie and George from Champaign, IL. Their dad went on a big trip to Italy and they got to have their country-cation here at K9 Connect Center! Not their first trip, and therefore we have become more bonded than ever 🥰. These lil babes have warmed our hearts and won over the friendship of my two young girls.

They are so the most active of Frenchies but they still can enjoy their cozy naps!

It’s not daycare… it’s pup care! Group activities, one on one time, team play, naps, games, treats, and training to learn how to play well with friends! Our program is one of a kind with offering the opportunity to explore indoor and outdoor spaces, learn new behaviors, and have special alone time to maximize their personal needs. Meet dreamy Charlotte!!!! She’s here for a LEVEL I PupCamp. Day 4 today and she has improved on not picking any of the undergarments off the floor. Tomorrow we take training into my personal on-site home to be sure the criteria is consistent with the house environment/setting.

In the words of her mom “(about a month ago) I just put the basket on the bed, she ran up, and she grabbed a sock”… she swallowed it, too! How scary.

We are on trajectory to hit all of our training goals for the week! Yippee! 🥳
