Where you reward your dog matters. If you reward across your body, out in front, across your body, your dog will position itself closer to that spot. This causes your dog to want to be out ahead. If you want to fix this, reward behind and you’ll notice your dogs position scooting back. Not sure where to start? Comment “position” and we will reach out

A huge thank you to all of clients and friends who have helped make the last 3 years successful. We moved to NC, sight unseen 3 years ago and are truly humbled to have come this far. If you teach your puppies early on that other dogs/puppies are more important than you, they will beleive you. :)

Stop ruining your sit command. If your dogs rear end breaks contact with the ground as you reward it, it’s likely your puppy thinks that getting up brings the reward and will continue to do so. This is going to make your sits and your sit stays unnecessarily difficult.
