Today, we pause to remember the precious little lives that were gone far too soon and to honor the families who carry their love and memory in their hearts every day. 🕊️

Pregnancy and infant loss is a heartbreak that often goes unseen, but the love, grief, and memories are very real.

To the parents who have experienced this unimaginable loss: Your baby mattered. Your love matters. Your grief matters. ❤️

Today, we extend our compassion and support to all families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.

🕯️ At 7:00 PM, families around the world are invited to light a candle as part of the International Wave of Light, creating a continuous wave of remembrance and love.

Extra pounds can affect your pet’s comfort, mobility, and long-term health. Excess weight can contribute to:

🐾🩺 Please Join Us in Welcoming Dr. Krystal P. Lebrón Ortiz to Falconbridge Animal Hospital! 🩺🐾

We are excited to introduce the newest addition to our veterinary team! 🎉 Dr. Lebrón Ortiz will be providing consistent veterinary coverage on Tuesdays and Thursdays, allowing us to offer even more continuity of care for our patients and their families!

Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Lebrón Ortiz earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University and completed a small animal rotating internship at Auburn University.

Her professional interests include preventive medicine, dentistry, and client education. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care and believes that helping pet owners make informed decisions is key to keeping their furry family members happy and healthy.

❤️ Dr. Lebrón Ortiz is especially excited to connect with our Spanish-speaking community, helping make veterinary care more welcoming and accessible to all pet families!

When she's not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and exploring local restaurants and hidden food gems! 📚🍽️

We are thrilled to have her joining our Falconbridge family and can't wait for you and your pets to meet her!

Our pets depend on us to keep them safe, healthy, and protected every day. ❤️ This month is a great reminder to take a few simple steps to help prevent accidents and keep our furry family members out of harm’s way.

🏡 Pet-proof your home — Keep medications, cleaning products, toxic foods, and hazardous items safely out of reach.

🏷️ Keep identification current — Make sure your pet wears an ID tag and that their microchip information is up to date.

🚗 Travel safely — Use an appropriate carrier, crate, or pet restraint when traveling in the car.

🐕 Use a leash when appropriate — Even well-trained pets can become frightened or distracted unexpectedly.

🌡️ Watch the weather — Protect pets from extreme heat, cold, and other hazardous conditions.

🩺 Stay on top of preventive care — Routine examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and early attention to changes in your pet’s health all play an important role in keeping them protected.
