Paula's Pawsome Pets

🐾💜 It’s me again, popping in to share a little reminder! 💜🐾

We have some BIG dreams here at Paula’s Pawsome Pets (P3), and we’re hoping YOU can help us make them happen! 🐶🌳

✨ Here’s what we’re working toward:

🌳 P3 Pastures — Imagine a safe, fenced-in outdoor paradise where dogs can run, sniff, explore, play, pounce, and prance to their hearts’ content! A place where they can just be dogs and enjoy the great outdoors.

🐶 P3 Respite — A program designed to give shelter and rescue dogs a much-needed break from shelter life. We want to give these pups a chance to decompress, enjoy enrichment, get some love, and experience the freedom and happiness of simply being a dog. 💜

These dreams are BIG, but we believe we can make them happen one step at a time! Every single contribution helps us get closer to making these spaces a reality. Whether you can give $5, $25, $100, or any amount that works for you, it all adds up! 🐾

💜 Want to be part of making these dreams come true?

We have so much we want to do for these dogs, and with a little help from our community, we can make something truly pawsome happen! 🐕💜

Thank you for continuing to support our dreams and help us make a difference, one paw at a time! 🐾

🐱💜 PET TIP OF THE WEEK: GIVE YOUR CAT A PLACE TO HIDE! 💜🐾

Did you know that having a safe hiding spot can help your cat feel more comfortable and secure? 🐈

Even the most social kitties need a little alone time now and then! Hiding is a natural feline behavior that helps cats feel safe, especially when they’re feeling stressed, sleepy, or overwhelmed.

🐾 Here are a few ways to create a cozy hideaway for your cat:

💜 Think cozy! Provide a covered cat bed, a cardboard box, or a quiet spot under a piece of furniture.

💜 Let them choose. Allow your cat to retreat to their safe space without forcing them out.

💜 Keep it peaceful. Place their hideaway somewhere quiet, away from busy foot traffic and loud noises.

💜 Give them options. Some cats prefer hiding low in a box, while others feel safest perched up high on a cat tree or shelf.

💜 Respect their space. If your kitty retreats for some alone time, let them come to you when they’re ready for attention.

🐱 Remember, a cat hiding more than usual can sometimes signal stress or illness, so keep an eye out for changes in their normal behavior.

A safe kitty is a happy kitty! 🐾💜
