🤩Look at this color!! Ever bought Red Root Floaters and they turned green? There’s nothing wrong with your plants; you have to meet certain conditions for them to turn this vibrant!

1). Very strong light— preferably close to the water’s surface. The red color is a natural reaction to protect their leaves from intense light.
2). Low nitrates— anything below 5ppm is ideal, because higher levels of nitrogen will promote the plant to produce green chlorophyll.
3). Low flow— they don’t like surface agitation. Strong flow or splashing can damage the plants and stress them.

Any love out there for teeny-tiny fish? I personally think that the smallest species we sell are so underrated! What’s the smallest fish that you own?

This is my little Redhead Goby. He might reach 1.5” fully grown… this picture makes him look bigger than he is!😆
