Just sharing a personal accomplishment with one of our dogs! Idyllwynd’s Ch*****ne and Caviar, also known as Caspian, received a five point major towards his champion title, coming home with a feat of Winner’s Dog/Best of Winners in a sizeable lineup. I cannot explain just how proud I am of him! Not only is he the first dog I’ve put points on, but he’s also a bred by pup! Cheers to the bestest boy, Caspian! 😃🥂🎉

Here’s a continuation on the last video! The employees were eager to see more of his tricks and also were completely okay with me asking to briefly drop his leash. He’s got a local fan base already!

Excuse my daughter’s brief squawk as well as the several uses of “stay”. I’ve always worked my way to less and less uses of the command as the dog progresses to understand the concept - plus with puppy brain, it lets them keep it in their head what they need to do. 😋 You’ll notice at the end he lost focus on me, which is why I released him quickly after so that we ended on a positive note!

Here is just a small demonstration of what 14 week old Gryffin can do! This was his first public outing where he was allowed to walk on the floor(other times were to pet stores where I carried him to prevent any contact with illnesses he’d be susceptible to at the time) and he did fantastically! For a young puppy, he had extremely good focus on me and didn’t have interest in going to meet others unless I specifically allowed it, at which point he was very happy to give the new folk plenty of kisses! My pride in this boy is even bigger after last night’s trip - he truly is all I could ask for plus more!

We welcomed Gryffin(who’s individual journey can be found at on Instagram) into the pack a bit over two weeks ago and he couldn’t be coming along more perfectly! Potty training and basic obedience along with leash skills are proving to be a breeze for him. We have high hopes for this boy! He has a big job in store for him as a service dog when he gets older, but for now he’s enjoying his puppyhood while also learning some manners!
