🦃 🍁 Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! 🦃 🍁

As we step into the winter season, I want to say that safety is my top priority. If the roads are not friendly or iffy, I'll have to reschedule your appointment to a Friday. I do offer latch key service as a convenience. If Friday doesn’t work I’ll offer my next available.

During the next few months my schedule is changing to fewer dogs per day as I have had some unexpected changes. I’ll try my best to accommodate people but if you need to get in sooner I totally understand if you need to see another groomer then get on schedule with me for a later time.

The 4th of July is coming up quickly. If your dog is scared of fireworks, now is the time to get prepared. You can order a Happy Hoody off of Amazon or a Thunder Jacket. Many pet stores now sell C*D drops.

If your dog wants to hide, let them; allow them to find their own safe spot.

Don't get upset or make It into a big deal, as being upset will give your dog more reason to be scared.

Allow your neighbors to give you a heads up so you can prep. Being angry with your neighbors is just going to make them not want to give you a heads up next time.

Make sure they have a ID collar on. Or better yet pick yourself up a new ID tag tracker. Like Yip tag at Petco

Play rainforest music, allow them early dinner and potty time.

Do NOT take your pups to see the fire works. Their hearing is much more stronger than ours. They don’t care about the fireworks

I believe there’s been some confusion with the appointment times. When the reminder text go out your appointment may say something like 6-7-2025 at 12:45-1:30. this is the arrival window time not the full time of the groom.

I do have a 30 minute arrival window. I try to text everyone when I’m on my way.

I was able to figure out how to change the message so it’s more clear and hopefully clear up some confusion. 😇

Also as a friendly reminder please don’t wait last second for an appointment. I need a full months notice and the months that land on holidays I may need more time. To make it easier I do offer latch key service. I do ask please close your bedroom door 🥰 if your dog likes to be in there.

I will be returning any messages Monday 🩷 I do have a work phone and a personal phone so don’t feel bad what time it is when you text or call.

Ghosty boy had his spa day last week and insisted he have his ball-ball with him 😍 he’s a happy go lucky kinda guy.

Also wanted to remind people summer is basically here even though the weather this week is on the cooler side. Memorial Day weekend, 4th July around the corner - if your dog has a fear of fire works now the time to talk to your vet.

I have exciting news! I’m sure majority of you all will be super stoked, I know I am.

No more generator 🙌 Over the weekend I had a guy come up from Indiana that knows these set ups very well, removed my generator and replace it with batteries. No more generator noise, and no more generator maintenance for us.

No more appointments for May available, next appointments is in June.

I ask everyone to either pre-book ahead of time or give me a months heads up for appointments. Especially during the holiday months.

If you can’t wait that long I totally understand, but I used up all my wiggle room. I can definitely refer someone else in the mean time then you can get back on schedule with me ❤️ 🐾 ❤️

Also ticks are out and they seeking revenge so if you have not yet put your dog on a preventative now the time 😇
