🚨 Benny was lost September 13, 2026 in Duluth, MN 55807 near 47th & W 6th St

"Any help or information about my missing cat, Benny, 7yrs old, would be an absolute blessing! He has been missing since Sunday, September 13th. He visited a neighbors house that morning and has not been seen since. He is an indoor/outdoor cat that always comes home at least once daily for food, water, & pets. He thoroughly enjoys gallivanting our neighborhood and visiting our neighbors. A very smart and sweet/friendly boy. He responds to his name and acts more like a dog. My 3 year old daughter and I miss him so much!! Any help or information would be beyond appreciated. Thank-you for taking the time to read & share this!"

The smoke from the wildfires has caused air quality across our area to worsen, and it’s affecting our pets just like it affects us.

🐾 Please keep dogs and cats indoors as much as possible while the wildfire smoke continues to be present. If your dog needs to go outside, keep walks and potty breaks short and avoid strenuous exercise until the air quality improves.

Pets with the highest risk include:
❤️ Senior pets
🐶 Puppies and kittens
🫁 Pets with heart or lung disease
🐾 Flat-faced breeds like Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, and Persian cats

Watch for signs that your pet may be struggling, including:• Coughing• Wheezing or noisy breathing• Difficulty breathing or rapid breathing• Excessive panting• Eye irritation• Lethargy or weakness

If your pet is showing signs of respiratory distress or is having trouble breathing, contact your veterinarian right away.

We all love getting outside with our furry friends, but today is a good day to stay in, enjoy some extra snuggles, puzzle toys, or indoor games until the smoke clears.
