Tuesday Tip with Miss V: Fall allergies aren't just a human problem!
As the seasons change, your pet may start reacting to things like pollen, mold, or other environmental allergens. Keep an eye out for signs like:

🐾 Excessive licking or chewing of paws
👂 Frequent ear scratching or irritation
🐶 Increased itching or scratching
🔴 Red or irritated skin
👀 Watery or irritated eyes

If your pet suddenly seems a lot itchier this time of year, don't just chalk it up to “fall.” Seasonal allergies can be uncomfortable, and there are ways to help.

If you're noticing changes in your pet's skin, ears, or overall comfort, give our team a call. We're happy to help your pet get back to feeling like themselves!

Tuesday Tip with Miss V: You know your pet better than anyone, which means you’re often the first to notice when something looks a little different.

Try giving your pet a quick at-home check once a month:
Eyes: Look for redness, discharge, cloudiness or changes.
Ears: Check for odor, redness, buildup or frequent scratching.
Teeth: Look for plaque, tartar, bad breath or irritated gums.
Paws & nails: Check for cracks, irritation, foreign objects and overgrown nails.
Skin & coat: Look for bumps, bald spots, redness, lumps or changes in the skin.

These quick checks aren't a substitute for regular veterinary exams, but they can help you notice changes early.

When in doubt, give us a call. Your pet can't tell you when something feels off, but their body can give you clues.
