Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Wanted Series race due to a lack of interest and participation.

After having to cancel the first race of our fall series because of weather, and with Labor Day weekend coming up next weekend, we feel it is in the best interest of everyone to go ahead and cancel the remainder of the fall series as well.

Please know that this was not a decision we made lightly. We appreciate everyone who has supported the Wanted Series and Copper Basin Riding Club, and we hope you understand our decision.

Unfortunately, it looks like we’re going to have to cancel tomorrow’s Wanted Series race. 😞 The weather forecast changed once again, and we don’t feel like conditions will allow us to put on the kind of race everyone deserves.

Wanted will resume on August 29, and we’ll announce a makeup date as soon as we can get one scheduled.

If you’ve already paid your entry fees, refunds will be issued tonight.

We’re truly sorry, everyone. We had high hopes that the forecast would turn in our favor, but Mother Nature had other plans. Thank you all for your understanding. The safety of our horses and riders will always be our top priority, and we look forward to seeing everyone on August 29!

As we wrap up our Spring Wanted Series, we just want to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you who made this series such a success!

Thank you to everyone who came out to race, cheer from the sidelines, volunteer, work the office, drag the arena, set barrels, sponsor, and support Copper Basin Riding Club throughout the spring. It truly takes an incredible group of people to make these events happen, and we appreciate every single one of you.

What a fantastic way to finish the series! We had an exciting day of competition, and once again our arena record was broken!

🌧️ **Race Cancellation Announcement – Sunday, July 12** 🌧️

Due to multiple weather forecasts predicting heavy rain and strong storms throughout the weekend, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our race scheduled for **Sunday, July 12**.

We know everyone has been looking forward to this race, and this wasn't an easy decision. Our top priority is making sure our competitors, horses, and spectators have the safest and best experience possible.

We are planning to **reschedule the race for Sunday, July 19**, using the **same time-slot format**. This will serve as the final race of our **Spring Wanted Series**, provided the weather cooperates.

If Mother Nature doesn't allow us to race on the 19th either, we will conclude the Spring Series with the current point standings and award our buckles accordingly, as our **Fall Wanted Series begins August 1**.

If you have already pre-registered for July 12, I will be reaching out to you personally to make sure the new date works for you. If you're able to attend on July 19, **your time slots will remain reserved**.
