🐾 Is Your Pet Microchipped? 🐾
A microchip is a simple, safe, and permanent form of identification that can help reunite you with your pet if they ever become lost.
Unlike collars and tags, microchips can't fall off or be removed. The tiny chip, about the size of a grain of rice, is placed just under your pet's skin and contains a unique identification number that can be scanned by veterinary clinics and animal shelters.

Remember: A microchip only works if your contact information is kept up to date in the registration database. If you've recently moved or changed phone numbers, take a moment to verify your information.

As the weather warms up, remember to:
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🌳 Provide shade during outdoor activities
🚗 Never leave pets in a parked vehicle
🐕 Walk dogs during the cooler parts of the day
🦟 Stay up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

Heat Stroke Can Be Life-Threatening for Pets 🐾🌡️
As temperatures rise, it's important to know the warning signs of heat stroke in pets. Dogs and cats can overheat quickly, especially during hot, humid weather.
If you suspect your pet is suffering from heat stroke:
✅ Move them to a cool, shaded area
✅ Offer small amounts of cool water
✅ Apply cool (not ice-cold) water to their body
✅ Contact your veterinarian immediately
Prevention is key! Never leave pets in a parked car, provide plenty of fresh water, and avoid strenuous activity during the hottest parts of the day.
