Just a few words to get your week rolling. See the sunrise this week. Start the day talking to God. Even just a few words. Slow down enough throughout your day to enjoy moments with those around you. Live with purpose. You only get to live this life one time.

The very best Joe hipp braiding halter model you ever did see. Waco in all his glory and splendor. Thanks Joe for building us such cool stuff for years.

This 3 year old has been so much fun. We are grateful to be able to train colts like him. This one belongs to Todd Mathis of Fort Klamath, Oregon.

He is a son of High Brow CD out of a Playgun mare. He’s also Royal Crown eligible.

These cooler fall days in Texas have sure been nice. We are able to get so much done right now. I can’t wait to see what we have once we start hauling these (coming) 4 year olds we’ve been working on all year.

I know there will be ups and downs seasoning them but I believe in the foundation they have on them and that keeps me hopeful. If you have a solid foundation then bad days are just moments you can be better and grow…both the horses and yourself.

Read that last sentence again.

We’ve been taking a few colts to some jackpots here and there this fall to get them seasoned. This 4 year old mare has been a lot of fun.

Heeler Wanted

Our neighbor Josh Beavers has been a great help this summer and fall but is moving. That leaves a spot for a heeler a few days a week.

We are located in Dublin, Texas. If you have a few heel horses and need the looks or need to get your young heel horses worked this could be the spot for you. Need someone to be able to be reliable and show up 3-4 days a week.
Weekday mornings.

Message or text if you are interested.

I’m at the age some of my older friends are going home to be with Jesus. Sometimes the days feel longer than they should but I’m grateful everyday for what I get to do and who I get to do it with.

It’s easy to let life feel heavy but if you take a step back and look at your life and all the blessings you’ve been given it’s overwhelming. We have a team of horses, clients, sponsors, and friends that we could not have dreamed of when we started this. I hope I never lose sight of that.
