Finished the show season with a bang! To remark on improvements or personal goals seems small in comparison to the fun we had with the horses and the gratitude we express for all they do for us! While the ribbons showcase their talents, it’s the sentimental wins that really matter!
Morgan Hughes and Wolf Dancer were Champion in the Beginner Horse and stepped up into the 2’6 Thoroughbred Hunters to fill a class. We were surprised by Wolf’s clean sweep of the division being his first time at that height!
Charolette Flowers and Sanford were Reserve in the Green Horse Poles and Cross Rails but the real highlight was executing a canter in the flat, had the whole crowd cheering - this horse pulled carriages in a former life.
Peyton Butts was Reserve and Champion in the Thoroughbred Hunters taking the pressure off herself clocking around with a smile on her face proving her Thoroughbred can truly do anything!
Riley Wilson and Pudding won the combined Medal class and a Reserve in the Long Stirrup Equitation completing our super star pony’s last horse show in style!
Thank you Lakeside Arena for such a great horse show environment for our horses and riders!
