🎃🐓 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! 🐓🎃

We are beyond excited to announce that we are officially teaming up with Sligh's Feed and Supply for our end-of-year Halloween Swap, as well as one of our event locations throughout 2027! 🎉 We also have another partnership with a local business in Blairs for 2027 that will be announced soon! 😉

If you know Sligh’s, you already know they have some of the best feed and prices around, the BEST customer service, and an even better group of customers! 💜💜💜

Our goal is bringing everyone together in a welcoming, safe, and community-focused environment where everyone has the opportunity to come out, sell their animals and products, support local businesses, and connect with other like-minded people. Our community is stronger when we work together, support one another, and create opportunities for EVERYONE to succeed. Y’all stay tuned for the 2027 schedule but for now, plan to bring the whole family out for some Halloween fun! 👏🏻

When you raise livestock, you will inevitably have deadstock... some preventable, and some not...

What happened last night, I thought I had prevented. I was very wrong...

I have no idea what it was, but I suspect a large racoon; I came out to find 7 years of dedicated work wiped almost completely out, plus others I had excitedly just added this year. My Nankin Bantams took the worst hit, I am down to just 4 and what eggs I had collected. One entire bloodline gone... yes, I have eggs, but I was too lazy to mark them because I didn't plan to hatch them, so even if I set them, I have no idea who they belong to...

I am devastated and kicking myself for not building a better set up. I don't know what I will do from here, I can say that the only birds unaffected were my Kikiriki and Quail...

To my beloved friends who follow this page, I am not ready to discuss this in person, I will only cry...
