Cat (and animal) lovers, I need your help to spread the word! 🐾

If you have a cat—or know someone who does—you probably know how devastating Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) can be. It’s incredibly common, and right now, we mostly just manage the symptoms rather than stopping the disease itself.

But there is an amazing new clinical trial trying to change that!

Scientists are studying a drug called Rapamycin to see if it can actually slow down the aging process in feline kidneys and decrease tissue scarring. This could be a massive game-changer for how we treat our senior kitties.

The best part? The study is fully funded (meaning costs are covered for participants).

Who can join?
*Cats diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
Age: Between 5 and 15 years old
Weight: Over 5 pounds
Commitment: A 9-month study period

It’s a "double-blind, placebo-controlled" study, which just means it’s being held to the highest scientific standards to ensure the results are accurate and safe.
